Our in depth knowledge of plumbing systems and design will mean that we can direct you to the correct types of taps / showers / water fittings that will work well on your specific type of hot water system,whether it’s mains water supply via a combination boiler or unvented mains pressure hot water cylinder or the more traditional low pressure hot water cylinder system-the correct water supply fittings are the most important part of the bathroom to ensure that your beautiful looking finished bathroom actually gives you that awesome shower and not a dribble!

A recent full bathroom installation in Woodhouse, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, had these challenges to overcome: the hot water system was supplied by a low pressure gravity fed hot water cylinder and the customer really wanted a thermostatic bar shower installed over the bath, in their other 2 en-suites there were 2 electric showers.

With the thermostatic type of shower,the performance of the shower when just supplied from the hot water cylinder and cold water storage tank would be poor, so we advised that a pump should be fitted to boost the performance to 1.5 bar, this was done at the first fix stage and on 2nd and final fix the performance of the new pumped shower was excellent and we had a very happy customer.

The rest of the bathroom was made up of beautiful modern looking clean and crisp concealed wc unit and pan and a basin situated over a floor mounted cabinet in a gloss white colour with a chrome towel rail and additional furniture (towel ring, mirror and WC roll holder) to complete.

We are happy to provide brochures for the suppliers we use for you to browse and then provide you with a supply and fit quotation if you find what you are looking for, but we are also more than happy to provide quotations for labour and fittings only to fit equipment supplied by you.
